An overall band score of 6 is required for the secondary visa applicant. However, there are instances that an IELTS score is not needed. Secondary visa applicants need to provide a Certificate of Medium of English from their primary, secondary, and tertiary schools from their native country. This certificate will prove that English has been the medium of instruction in school.
