IELTS Tips That Are Often Neglected; I Can't Believe #7 is Very Effective

Taking the IELTS or the International English Language Testing System examination involves a lot of mental preparation. Many of its candidates spend a lot of time looking for reviewers or manuals in bookstores while some chose to be a part of an IELTS course program in IELTS review centers. Candidates for the test give a lot of time in learning skills and strategies for the test. All of them need to hit their target scores to be able to qualify for a job in a company or a slot in a university. 2. Loving the art of reading. There are a lot of people who do not like reading. However, candidates should be able to enjoy reading as there are long passages to be read in the reading test. 
3. Diary writing. It may sound so girlish to some men but it definitely improves your writing skill from simple journal writing to an elaborate essay. 
4. Speak English as often as possible. There is no need to feel awkward when speaking English to friends or other people. Speaking with others in English helps gain confidence needed in the speaking exam. 
5. Practice taking down notes. Some people do not give attention to details in the listening passage wherein fact, these are the needed information for the test. 
6. Do some dictation exercises. Listen to an excerpt of a news report, write down what you have heard, and check it. Doing this improves your listening skill a lot. 
7. Find someone who can teach you the ins and outs of the IELTS. Look for someone who have taken the IELTS and ask for tips on studying. Better yet, find an IELTS review center where mentors and lecturers are all knowledgeable in teaching IELTS. 
8. Find a speaking partner. This person will guide you on how to respond to questions and have the confidence in delivering the response. 
9. Do a lot of practice tests and mock tests. Candidates who are exposed to mock tests have the higher possibility in getting a good score in the test for they know how the test runs. 
10. Give time to rest. Studying for 3 to four hours is recommended; however, taking a break between those hours essential. Give the brain time to absorb everything before adding more information to it.
