4. The score in the IELTS does not really say pass or fail. Companies and educational institutions set standard scores that applicants need to attain. The exam has a band scale from 1 to 9, 1 as the lowest and 9 as the highest. Some companies and academic institutions set specific scores on the speaking sections.

5. The IELTS result is given about two weeks after the examination. The certification is valid for two years; however, you can take the IELTS examination if you feel the need to get a higher score.

6. Registration for the IELTS can be done online or you can ask help from IELTS review centers.  Upon registering, candidates have the option to register in British Council which is Php 8986 and IDP that costs Php 8900.
